HIKVISION RELEASES NEW EXIR NETWORK CAMERAS TO BETTER ILLUMINATE NIGHTTIME ENVIRONMENTS:

HIKVISION recently launched new EXIR network camera as a continuation of successfully launched EXIR analog series in the month of May 2013.These cameras are comprised of DS-2CD2200-I5 EXIR Bullet Camera series and the DS-2CD2300-I EXIR Turret Camera series. Both the cameras are featured with most advanced thin-film and light-emitting technology which can provide 30% of  more illuminant efficiency over traditional LED array technology.
Added to that these EXIR network series provides a 40% light-extraction rate, resulting in stronger light for long-range visibility usage. Especially the DS-2CD2200-I5 EXIR Bullet Camera series offers a minimum illumination at 0.01 lux @ F1.2 with AGC on, 0 lux with IR (with up-to a 50m IR range). The DS-2CD2300-I EXIR Turret Camera is slightly different, giving consumers another option. It offers the same minimum illumination, but with up-to a 30m IR range. In this EXIR network series the images are optimized with luminance uniformity functionality which can help to eliminate LED lns issues , such as over-exposure at the centre of images and darker areas at corners.
The resolution of this series comes with 1.3MP and 3MP which can deliver sharp and clear images with the latest 1/3" progressive scan CMOS. The new network series also benefits from efficient codec compression (approximately 30% to 50% above traditional network cameras) which can reduce the transmission of video information and storage on IP surveillance systems.
